We are one
of the few clinics in Canada that
can offer several state of the
art alternatives for the treatment
of large varicose veins. Some
are covered under the Ontario
Health Insurance Plan but unfortunately,
many of the newer techniques are
not.
Dr. Scott Powell MD, FRCSC
is a practicing general surgeon
at the Royal Victoria Hospital
in Barrie. In addition to venous
surgery his practice includes
surgery for breast and bowel cancer,
gallbladder and hernia repairs.
His special interest is in minimally
invasive alternatives for varicose
veins. He has been practicing
in Barrie since 2000.
